Some of the Most Iconic Casino in Europe That You Should Visit

Most of the live casinos can be found in China and the United States (particularly in the Las Vegas Strip). But, there are actually some really good casinos that you can visit in the European continent as well.

Today, I am going to be talking about some of the most iconic casinos that you can visit in Europe. Be sure to include them in your travel itinerary when you do go to these areas.

Casino di Campione, Switzerland

This is considered as the largest casino in Europe. It is so large, in fact, that it is able to house more than 550 slot machines and it still has plenty of space to spare.

The Casino di Campione was built back in 1917 as a means to attract foreign diplomats to stay in the continent and gain some important information about the countries outside of Europe during World War 1.

It is situated in the municipality of Campione d’Italia, which is just within reach of the borders of Switzerland. So, you could say that this place is located either in Italy or Switzerland if that is what you prefer.

The casino has three levels and each level focuses on certain types of games. Here, you can expect to play roulette, poker, blackjack, and of course, the aforementioned slot machines!

Casino De Monte Carlo, Monaco

If all you really play in the casino is Poker, then I highly recommend that you go to Casino De Monte Carlo. Located in Monaco, this is one of the first luxurious casinos ever built in Europe.

Although it specializes in different variations of poker, it still offers some casino game staples like craps, baccarat, blackjack, among many others.

A little trivia: This place is actually the inspiration for Ian Fleming’s book, Casino Royale.

Kurhaus Baden-Baden, Germany

This casino has a rich historical value. This is actually one of the remains of Imperialist Germany and to this day, the style is kept the same as the original.

The Kurhaus Baden-Baden is a casino that holds many German traditions. It follows the infamous Octoberfest in that you will be given free beers if you play during this time of the year and it also hosts the annual Entrecote Festival inside the building as well. This means that you not only get to enjoy the booze, but you also get to enjoy some scrumptious German eats!

Aviation Club de Paris, France

The Aviation Club de Paris is one of the oldest casinos in Europe and one that also has a rich history. This small casino was established way back in 1907 and its main purpose was to offer poker and table games mostly; although it now has a much larger portfolio of games on offer.

Aside from that, the WSOP also stopped by at this casino and held major poker events here. This place is within the vicinity of some of Paris’ popular tourist attractions, such as the infamous Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees, and the Louvre.
